Windows Phone 7 Galaxy S 2

The Windows Phone 7 version of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 was shown off at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner conference.  Most people were expecting a boring round table talk with partners but the shining piece of news was the reveal of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 preloaded with Windows Phone 7! Actually let's take a step back.

The smartphone they showed was a Samsung manufactured, unnamed device, but it had the same slim design as the Galaxy S2.  It had the mandatory 3 buttons for back, Start and search and seemed to have a Super AMOLED display.  Not other details around the specifications were given out but it seems they're targeting the Christmas market rush for the phone.

It'll be interesting to see how well the Samsung Galaxy variant for Windows Phone 7 pans out and one has to wonder where this will leave Nokia.
