Hercules = T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S2
It looks like TmoNews has gotten a bit of unofficial confirmation that the Samsung Hercules that has been long rumored to be T-Mobile's super powered Samsung handset is, in fact, their variant of the Samsung Galaxy S2. The Hercules is set to have a 4.5 inch display, like the Samsung Infuse, and access to T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network, allowing up to 42 Mbps. It's also rumored to feature dual core, 1.2 GHz processors which is good news for folks looking for a faster operating system.

Samsung Hercules on T-Mobile in Late September?
The heavily rumored powerhouse smartphone from Samsung, the Samsung Hercules is rumored to be released in late September through T-Mobile USA. Rumors are swirling on whether the Hercules will be a T-Mobile branded Samsung Galaxy S2
or if it will be a rebranded Samsung Infuse
. If it's the former, T-Mobile will once again be the first major U.S. carrier to release the Galaxy S series smartphone. If it's the latter, the Hercules may end up being a disappointment for most folks.
