Google CEO and the Nexus S

Google CEO, Eric Schmidt was seen carrying and using the Samsung Nexus S, pictured above, at the 2010 Web 2.0 Summit.  Though he didn't explicitly state that the phone pictured above was the Samsung Nexus S, he did mention that the device he was using was an "unannounced phone" by an "unannounced manufacturer", which was more of a company line than anything.

It can be clearly seen that the device is on T-Mobile's network and it runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).  He announced that the Nexus S, or the "unannounced device", would come with NFC technology.  Near Field Communication, or NFC technology, is supposedly technology that will allow the Nexus S to interact with other devices when they're close to one another.  One example is making payments to kiosks nearby using the phone, or checking in to stores or shops automatically rather than manually typing it into an app.

One can only expect that the Samsung Nexus S is nearing full completion and will most likely be released in either the holiday season or early next year.
